you seem to have lower prices than other schools, why  ?

Our policy is very simple:

We want to have the lowest prices : our prices are the same whatever country you come from, we want to remain an international institute and not only host wealthy students from rich countries.

We can have the lowest prices, our equipment and facilities are used all year round, by foreign or French students as well as by local French companies.

We know how to offer the best quality service because we have a team of permanent teachers. They are trained to cope with the high season but continue to work during the low season in order to improve their teaching skills and/or prepare new teaching material.

Are there any extra charges ?

No ! Our price is all included :30H courses per week, 3 meals a day, accommodation in a single or double room, books (the class book is lent during the course, you may buy it at the end of your stay. The price is 15€), internet connection...

When do I have to pay ?

You pay a deposit of 350€ as soon as you wish to confirm your enrolment. The rest of the sum can be paid on arrival.

Can I make several payments ?

Yes, but in that case you can’t get a discount  : for example if the price for 1 week is 429€, the price for 4 weeks is only 1532€, if you pay the total amount. But if you make 4 payments, you will pay 4 times 429€= 1716€

Is it difficult to reach Rambouillet ?

It’s very easy. 30 minutes from Paris by train. When you confirm your enrolment we give you a telephone number where you can reach us even outside office hours.

How many students in a group ?

Maximum 12 .No minimum. The average is 8.

How long before my arrival do I have to enrol ?

In the summer, around 2 months before. The rest of the time around 1 month.   Generally in December and January we are not fully booked, therefore 1 week before arrival, is possible.

Do I have to take out insurance ?

It is preferable! Your insurance policy may be valid in France but it is best to make sure and ask for a special cover if needed. The institute has its own   professional insurance policy, which covers acts where the institute is liable..

Warning : The French Law is applicable, It may not be the same as the law in your country. For example : in France a hotel is liable in case of theft in a room, but the law does not apply if it is a student room: if you have valuables then take out necessary insurance. Furthermore in case of illness or hospitalization, reimbursement depends on the health insurance scheme in your country of origin, and supplementary insurance you may have taken out.

Do you prepare specific meals ?

No, We wouldn’t be able to cope with all the demands,   furthermore preparing balanced meals for long stay students is an enormous task. We guarantee that with our self-service formula you can adapt the meal according to your tastes and our chef will do his best to please. He can, on request, replace a dish by another and serve fish instead of meat, for example, or add raw vegetables if you are a vegetarian etc... As for the rest, it is up to you to make sure your diet is balanced because eating patterns differ from one country to another .

Can I stay with a local French family ?

No : Too many students have been disappointed by this formula: they expected to live within a French family and finally found themselves with a room to let, too many constraints and too little contacts.

Students who prefer more comfortable accommodation can book a hotel room and choose our non-resident formula. We can help with booking.

What about Public holidays ?

In 2008, during public holidays :January 1st, March 24th, May 1st nor the 8th , July 14th, August 15th, November 11th and December 25th , the institute is open  : meals are served and rooms, classrooms, language laboratory are accessible. But there are no courses as teachers take the day off.

How old are your students ? Where do they come from ?

They can be any age (but all are over 16) and from any country. Click here and consult our statistics.
