RAMBOUILLET'S OLD MILL

le Vieux Moulin à Rambouillet

In the ‘old mill’s’ parc, in the center of Rambouillet, the l’Institut has a campus in a 5 acres parc, made up of 5 adjoined buildings regrouping:

  •  15 classrooms
  • 1 computer room connected to the internet,
  • 1 cafeteria space equipped with a bar and hot and cold drinks and snacks machines,
  •  a piano lounge, a fully equipped video room,
  •  a library and a videotheque,
  • a fitness room,
  • a kitchen for the evenings when feeling a little peckish
  •  a laundry room.

*Wifi access throughout the entire campus, even in bedrooms, you can use your laptop: a pingpong room, a  disco area and sports fields (tennis, volley ball, football…)

All mostly accessible  24h/7 and situated in the city center, close to all amenities, 10 minutes walk from train staion, 30 minutes from Paris or Chartres by train…very few sites have such offers!

The " Château ", a typical Norman-French construction from the XIXth Century, was built on the ruins of the Rambouillet's mill and has consequently kept the name of the "Château du Vieux Moulin" (that is, the Old Mill's Chateau).

The Potocki Count has built it, as a hunting residence, to be offered to one of his dearest French friends, the Baron of Salcette. Completely abandoned after the Second World War, the Chateau became, in 1950, a language institute.
